JANET A. ZETTERMAN-TEICH was born on August 7, 1922, in Oakland, Nebraska to Arthur and Laura (Swanson) Alexander. She passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Oakland Heights in Oakland.

Janet was a lifelong resident of Oakland. Following her graduation from Oakland High School, she attended Nebraska Wesleyan and was a member of Willard Sorority.

On October 10, 1942, Janet was married to Vernon Zetterman in Oakland. She and Vernon were married for 41 years. Following Vernon's death, Janet married Paul Teich. Janet and Paul enjoyed 3 years together.

Janet was an active member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.E.O. Chapter E.L. and the Oakland Golf Club. She was an avid reader, bridge player, golfer and Bible study member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: F. Vernon Zetterman and Paul Teich.

Survivors include her daughters and spouses: Sarah and Lin Volker of Humboldt, Nebraska, Susan and Al Campbell of Hamilton, Illinois; sons and spouses: Bill Zetterman and Barbara Bowers, John and Cindy Zetterman all of Lincoln, Nebraska; stepdaughter: Nancy Teich of Baltimore, Maryland; sister and spouse: Shirley and Lee Morgan of Wichita, Kansas; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, May 31, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakland, Nebraska.
