JERRY LEE WARREN, of Bellevue, Nebraska

Jerry Lee Warren was born July 27, 1967, to Earl and Sharon (Taylor) Warren at the Pender Hospital in Pender, Nebraska. He passed away at his home in Bellevue, Nebraska on January 11, 2012, at the age of 44 years. 

When he was nine years, Jerry moved with his family to Herman, Nebraska.   He attended Herman Elementary and graduated from Tekamah-Herman High School in 1986.  He enlisted into the US Navy after high school. 

Jerry was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout and he was a cadet on the Herman Fire Department. In high school he was very active in FFA, Speech and Art Department.  He enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with friends and family.  He was an avid animal lover (Snowball, Preston, Polo, Sadie and Cody).

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunt and uncle. 

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Elicia Warren Logan Iowa; life partner, Jay Schuoler of Bellevue NE; mother, Sharon (Don) Frese of Decatur; father, Earl Warren of Omaha; sisters, Therese (Dan) Magill of Decatur, Penny (Brian) Warren of Decatur; brothers, Jimmy (Stephanie) Warren of Decatur, Thomas Keller of Decatur; step grandma, Edith Taylor; aunts, Patty, Rita and Nancy; nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, January 19, 2012, 2:30 p.m. at the Decatur City Hall, Decatur, NE

BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, NE with Military Honors American Legion Rogers-Crum Post #215 and VFW Gleason-Rogers Post #6926
