VICTOR F. ROTH, 75 years, of Scribner, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the Nebraska Medical Center, University Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Victor was born June 29, 1935, in West Point, Nebraska, to Victor and Bertha (Keommanns) Roth Sr. Vic served in the US Air Force from September 1954 through until March 1958. On November 15, 1953, Vic and Elsie Gourley were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point, Nebraska. Vic was a union office at Western Electric in Omaha, Nebraska, for ten years. He then was an over-the-road truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Roth Sr. and Bertha (Keommanns) Meier; wife, Elsie (January 7, 2005); two sisters, Dorothy Audis, Lola Chapell; three brothers-in-law, Thomas Glenn, Roley Uhing and Ronald Gourley; nephew, Randy Nissen. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Lori Roth of Scribner, Patricia Mundy of Fremont, Nebraska; Cheryl and Duane Schreiber of Lincoln, Nebraska; son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Debbie Roth of Fremont; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Donna Dagosta of Omaha. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Oakland. BURIAL: Oakland Cemetery with Military Honors by Scribner American Leion Post No. 121
