BESSIE HELEN PEARCE was born October 7, 1914, in rural Tekamah, Nebraska to John Joseph and Julia Clara (Sklenar) Pearce. She passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Tekamah at the age of 95 years.

Bessie was a life-long resident of Tekamah, graduating from Tekamah High School in 1933. She was engaged in farming.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother in infancy and brother, Fred in June 1999; sister, Barbara in July 1999.

Survivors include several cousins.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, December 18, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah, Nebraska.

VISITATION: Friday one hour prior to the service.

BURIAL:  Tekamah Cemetery, Tekamah, Nebraska
