CLEO C. PAULEY was born September 23, 1928, at Wall Lake, Iowa, to Leonard and Alta (Ayers) Carroll.  She passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Oakland Heights, in Oakland, Nebraska. 

Cleo graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy at Sioux City, Iowa, in 1946. She married Charles (Flip) D. Pauley in 1951 at Carroll, Iowa. He precedes her.  

Cleo was a cook for many years at the Hiway Cafe and Branding Iron in Lyons. 

She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Lyons. Cleo loved her friends and family, taking care of and helping people. She also loved flowers. 

Her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Clark and four sisters, Cornella, Connie, Lynette and Betty, also preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her daughters, Jennie Lynn Belz (Steve Sabo) of Phoenix, Arizona, Charlotte (Kent) Hansen of Tekamah, Nebraska; sons, Leonard Charles Pauley of Phoenix, Mark Lee Pauley (Lorrie Jeffords) of North Sioux City, South Dakota, Michael Charles Pauley of Carroll, Iowa. 

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, November 19, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at the Pelan Funeral Home in Lyons.

MEMORIAL GATHERING: Friday, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Lyons.
