ROSEMARY NELSON NEELY was born to Edward and Henrietta (Johnson) Nelson April 7, 1921, on a farm 3 miles north of Craig, Nebraska. Her home was in Fort Worth, TX  and she had been visiting family in Craig when after a brief illness, she passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Oakland Mercy Hospital in Oakland, Nebraska, at the age of 90 years.
 
Rosemary was a four-year Valedictorian of Oakland High School. Her 1939 graduating class was the school's largest.
 
Shortly after graduation she met and married Wm. Harvey Neely Jr., of Wayne, Nebraska.
 
She received her degree in cost accounting at the University of Texas at Arlington and worked for several decades in that field for the Army Corps of Engineers.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Evelyn and Elsie; brother, Gordon; and husband, Wm. Harvey Neely Jr. in July 1975.
 
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-laws, Maureen Neely and Harry Grissom of Phoenix AZ, Cheryl and Elbert Woodham of Moody TX; two sisters, Helen Jean Nelson of Craig and Ruth Schmidtmayr of Vienna, Austria; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
 
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
