HELEN ALTA MORRIS, 84 years, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Walter Lloyd Morris passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 at White Oak Manor.

Mrs. Morris was born November 19, 1923 in Bancroft, Nebraska, daughter of the late William Guy Mayberry and Effie Crisman Mayberry. She was a graduate of schools in Tekamah, Nebraska. She enjoyed making quilts. She was a grocery store clerk and a homemaker.

Surviving include: three sons: David Morris and his wife, Gwen, of San Antonio, Texas, Dennis Morris and his wife, Pamila, of Summerville, South Carolina, Don Morris of Paola, Kansas; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Scots Kirk Associate Reform Presbyterian Church, Summerville, South Carolina.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 3:00 p.m. at the Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah with Rev. Phil Sloat officiating.

BURIAL: Tekamah Cemetery, Tekamah, Nebraska.

VISITATION:  Tuesday one hour prior to the service
