CAROL JEAN MILLER was born to E. Wayne and Ida (Mangold) Lee on March 25, 1939, in Sioux City, Iowa.  She passed away on July 1, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.

Carol received all of her education in Sioux City, Iowa.  After graduating from Central High School, she went on to graduate from St. Vincent’s School of Radiology.

On March 4, 1961, Carol was married to Ronald A. Miller in Manning, Iowa. Carol worked as an X-Ray Technician in Manning, West Point and Oakland, Nebraska.  After residing in Pender, Nebraska, they moved to Oakland where she continued her work as an X-Ray Technician at the Oakland Hospital until she retired after 28 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ron and sister, Nancy.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William and Christal Miller of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Nowell Greve of Oakland;  brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Juanita Lee of Carrollton, Texas; sisters & brothers-in-law; Marilyn and Duane White of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Rosemary and Ron Hall of Louisville, Kentucky; aunt, Delores Selich of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren,  Michael and Amanda Miller, William and Jonathan Greve.

MEMORIAL SERVICE:  Monday, July 6, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Oakland.
