Floyd C. Marr

1911 ~ 2008

FLOYD CLAYTON MARR was born December 14, 1911, in Burt County, Nebraska, to Bert and Delia (Austin) Marr. He passed away Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Tekamah, Nebraska, at the age of 96 years.

Floyd served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on December 6, 1945.

Floyd, a life-long resident of Burt County, married Eva E. Erlewine. He farmed for Hundahl Farms. Floyd was a friend of the United Methodist Church in Tekamah.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Art, Alferd, and Ellsworth Marr; sisters: Eva Richards, Edna Ray and Gail Wildman.

Survivors include his wife: Eva of Tekamah; sisters-in-law: Billie Kuhlmann of Sioux City, Iowa; Rose Reyzlik and her husband, Richard, of Herman, Nebraska, Mary Gill of Decatur, Nebraska; many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah.

VISITATION: Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Tekamah Cemetery with Military Honors by VFW Bataan Post No. 3304 and American Legion LaFrenz Post No. 15
