Yvonne was the Head Teller for First National Bank which later became Nebraska National Bank for 32 years.  In her retirement she also traveled with Bob delivering and picking up vehicles for Woodhouse Ford, and would often be seen helping out at the Cardinal Bar in Herman with their son, Dan.

She was active in the bowling leagues in Lyons and Tekamah, attending many state tournaments.  She loved family and friends.  She was noted for telling stories and could always be counted on for a good joke.   Her favorite activities included many Yahtzee, Bingo and card games, and coffee times with family and friends.  She enjoyed attending the horse and dog races, and trips with family and friends to the casinos to play the nickel slot machines.  She was active and supportive in her children’s, and then grandchildren’s activities.  The weekend before her stroke she attended graduation celebrations for two of her grandchildren.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bev.
