PHYLLIS LOERCH 74 years, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully November 22, 2009. Her son, Jay and daughter, Joni were at her bedside. She had been responding well to cancer treatment but lost the battle due to complications.

Phyllis grew up in Tekamah, Nebraska and raised her family in Wahoo, Nebraska. She later moved to Arizona where she worked for the State of Arizona as a transcriptionist until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Brett Loerch; mother, Gertie (Ray) Marr; father, Ellsworth Marr; and brother, Marvin Marr. She is survived by her son, Jay of Papillion, Nebraska and daughter, Joni  Wade of Chandler, Arizona; five grandchildren, Jessica (17), Sam (15), Anthony (15), Andrew (13) and Rachel (10). She will be greatly missed by her sister, Joyce Allison and brother, Terry Marr both Tekamah.

Phyllis loved Nebraska football, bingo, playing cards, and chocolate. She was a beautiful, sweet person who always had a smile. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

We will be honoring her wishes by holding her Memorial Service at Pelan Funeral Services in Tekamah, Nebraska on December 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM.
