PHOEBE MARIE LITTLE was born May 6, 1913, in Burt County, Nebraska, to Roscoe W. and Larsine C. (Jensen) Little. She passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011, at her home in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 98 years.

Phoebe lived in California since 1946, with her long-time partner and friend, Eunice Smith.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Education and continued teaching in the Los Angeles public school system until she retired in 1980.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe W. and Larsine Little; brother, Roscoe Little Jr. and sister-in-law, Dorothy Little.

Survivors include her friend Eunice; sister, Beverly Richards; brother, Calvin Little; nieces and nephews. 

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, September 23, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Tekamah Cemetery.

VISITATION: Friday, 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah.

BURIAL: Tekamah Cemetery
