EARL KLASE, 81 years, formerly of Lyons, Nebraska and the Blackbird community, the son of Robert Klase Sr. and Bessie (Pond) Klase Miner, died May 14, 2008, at his home in Galena, Missouri.

Earl graduated from Lyons High School in 1945. He hade been an over-the road truck driver before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.

Survivors include his wife: Arlene of Galena, Missouri; daughters: Ruth (Clyde) England of Phoenix, Arizona, Drena (Andy) Vogt of Littleton, Colorado, Lajena Rasta (George) McLane of Phoenix; grandson: Chris Rasta of Phoenix, great grandson: Chris Rasta, Jr. of Phoenix; special people: Nancy Hawk (Roland) Srada of Ava, Missouri; sisters: Isabell Graf of Hemphill, Oregon, Irene (Roy) Dixon of Bancroft; sisters-in-law: Eunice (Joe) Veach of Fresno, California, Marjorie (Boyce) Wilson of Rogers, Arkansas; brother-in-law: Norwood (Margaret)Warner of Lake Havasu, Arizona.

GRAVEISDE MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, July 31, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Lyons Cemetery.
