SIGRID A. HULTMAN was born January 24, 1916, in Custer County, Nebraska to John O. and Selma  R. (Anderson) Johnson. She passed away Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Oakland Mercy Hospital in Oakland at the age of 92 years.

Sigrid came to Oakland with her family at the age of three years. She was confirmed in the First Lutheran Church by Rev. Lauri in 1931.

Sigrid and G. Harold Hultman were united in marriage on March 21, 1935. To this union five children were born: Louise, John, Ann, Jim and Merle. They made their home in Oakland, where Sigrid was a homemaker. G. Harold passed away in August 1980.

Sigrid was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Viking Lodge in Oakland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: G. Harold; sister: Alice Drummond; grandson: Robert Larsen and great granddaughter: Camden Hultman.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: John of Citrus Heights, California, James and Marda of Omaha, Nebraska; Merle and Violet of Oakland; daughters and son-in-law: Louise and Fred Larsen, and Ann Young all of Omaha; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; nephews, nieces and a host of extended family and friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Tuesday, April 8, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakland, Nebraska.

VISITATION: :  Monday, April 7, 2008, 1 – 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 – 8 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Oakland. Visitation will also be held Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT:  Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, Nebraska
