MARY LOUISE (ERLEWINE) GILL was born March 11, 1928, at Tekamah, Nebraska, to Gilbert and Bessie (Bowden) Erlewine. She passed away Monday, December 12, 2011, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Nebraska, at the age of 83 years.

Mary graduated from Tekamah High School.

On May 4, 1946, Mary and Donald F. Gill were united in marriage at the United Methodist Church in Tekamah.  They farmed near Decatur since 1952. Donald passed away June 23, 1995.

Mary was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in rural Tekamah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sisters, Kay Erlewine, Joan Lydick; brothers, Art and Edward Erlewine; grandson, Matthew Gill; daughter-in-law, Susan Gill; brothers-in-law, Richard Reyzlik and Floyd Marr.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Gill of rural Decatur, Fred (Kay) Gill of Regina, Canada; Patti (Dan) Johnson of rural Decatur; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Rose Reyzlik of Herman, NE,  Billie Kuhlman and  Eva Marr both of Tekamah.

MEMORIAL SERVICE and BURIAL will be held at a later date

MEMORIAL VISITATION: Thursday, December 15, 2011, with the family receiving friends 6 - 8 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. PRAYER SERVICE all at Pelan Funeral Services Tekamah.

MEMORIALS: Riverside Baptist Church, rural Tekamah.
