EUGENE A. EICKE “IKE” was born on February 3, 1939, in Bennington, Nebraska, to Herman and Hazel (Dohse) Eicke. He lost his long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at his home in Tekamah, Nebraska, at the age of 69 years.

Ike graduated from Bennington High School in 1957.

He leaves behind his partner, Beverlee of Tekamah; nine children: Maryann Shaw and her husband, Jim, of Clearwater, Florida, Phillis Eicke of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Eugene “Butch”  Jr. and partner, Halie, of Herman, Nebraska, DeEtta Scott and her partner, Tim, of Tekamah, Gilbert Scott of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kameron Eicke of St. Petersburg, Florida, Kody Eicke and his wife, Nikki, of Valley, Nebraska, Raelee Eicke and her partner, Jason, of Wayne, Nebraska, Kourtney Eicke of Tekamah; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Rodney Eicke of Riverton, Wyoming.

Please join Ike’s family and friends for a Memorial Gathering and Luncheon on Saturday, April 19, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the Café on Main, 1621 Washington (Main Street) in Blair, Nebraska.
