JACK ALBERT COBURN JR. was born April 20, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Jack and Betty (Kramer) Coburn Sr. He passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Nebraska, at the age of 58 years. Jack attended school at West Side in Omaha. He then served in the U.S. Navy. On February 11, 2000, Jack and Rebecca Eberle were married in Tekamah. He enjoyed the outdoors-fishing, boating, hunting and watching sports. Although he could be very stubborn, he loved having a good time. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Becky of Tekamah; children, Jim (Carrie) DeJarnett of Malvern, Iowa, Heather (Nick) Booth of Harker Heights, Texas, Mary Ann DeJarnett of Papillion, Nebraska, Josh (Kelli) Coburn of Blair, Nebraska, Christina (Luke) Connealy of Tekamah, Jeremy (Crystal) Coburn of Blair, Christina (Jeff) Eele, Susan (Brandon) Ackerman, April Garner all of Tekamah; twenty-nine grandchildren; sisters, Barb (Gene) Labs of Herman, Nebraska, Trudy (Keith) Stillman of Lyons, Nebraska; brother, Nicholas (Patty) Coburn Sr. of Tekamah; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, August 5, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah. VISITATION: Tuesday 1- 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 - 8 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah. Visitation Wednesday will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Nebraska with Military Honors by American Legion Rogers-Crum Post No. 215 and VFW Gleason-Rogers Post No. 6926 MEMORIALS: To the Family
