CHARLES L. BRADLEY, DDS, 87 years, of Lyons, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at the Oakland Mercy Hospital in Oakland, Nebraska. Charles was born March 6, 1924, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Carl C. and Anna Millicent (Ling) Bradley. Charles served in the U. S Army and was honorably discharged September 30, 1943. Dr. Bradley graduated from Creighton Dental School on May 29, 1949. He practiced orthodontics in Omaha and Columbus from 1950 to 1971, after which he moved to Lyons and opened a practice in general dentistry. He retired in 2004. Charles was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons. In his earlier years, he loved to travel and attend operas. He was an avid reader. He was soft spoken, kind and shy. In his retirement years, he enjoyed attending Happy Days Senior Center and was a frequent visitor at the Lyons Public Library. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Millicent and sister, Miriam Bradley. MEMORIAL SERVICES: Friday, May 20, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons.
