JANE LOUISE BOESCHEN was born to Walter and Melba (Wienberg) Boeschen on October 6, 1949, in Higginsville, Missouri. She entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Jane grew up in Concordia, Missouri, in the house her father built. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and was confirmed in the church in 1963 by Rev. William J. Wollenburg. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1967. Jane received a degree in medial technology from Central Missouri State University in 1971 and worked in the lab at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City for 27 years. During this time she attained a master's degree. In 2002 Jane graduated from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago with a Master of Divinity degree and was ordained into the ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America that July. She served Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah as its pastor for 5 1/2 years. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Survivors include her mother: Melba Boeschen of Concordia, Missouri; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Dennis and Susan Boeschen of Lincoln, Nebraska, David and Tammy Boeschen of Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister and brother-in-law: Doris and Fred Schlef of O'Fallon, Missouri; three nephews and four nieces. FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, May 3, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah. VISITATION: Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. BURIAL: St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Concordia, Missouri. MEMORIALS: The Emmanuel Mission Endowment
