BRANDON LYNN BACON was born July 13, 1974, in Onawa, Iowa, to Pat and Pam (Huffman) Bacon.  He passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, after a brief illness, at the age of 36 years.
 
Brandon was dedicated to the Lord at the Assembly of God Church in Walthill, Nebraska.

He grew up on his parents’ farm west of Decatur and attended Decatur Public School.  He graduated from Lyons-Decatur Northeast High School in 1992.  He was employed at BB & T Sod for several years and later for Rinker Materials in Fort Calhoun.           

Brandon enjoyed family vacations to Adventureland and especially traveling in the Colorado Mountains and fishing.  He loved farm life, animals and nature.  His main interests were watching movies, Nebraska football, gardening and barbequing.
 
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Bacon, maternal grandparents, Jim & Sylvia Huffman; his aunt, Marilyn Kellogg and uncle, Jimmy Huffman.

He's leaving to mourn his parents, Pat and Pam Bacon of Decatur; grandmother, Mary Ann Bacon of Lyons, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE:  Saturday, July 17, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, Decatur Restoration Branch in Decatur.

BURIAL:  Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur.
