JAMES W. ANDERSON was born to Waitmun and Merle (Crannell) Anderson on December 1, 1933, at the Tekamah Hospital in Tekamah, Nebraska. He passed away, Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Nebraska. Jim attended Crawford Country School and graduated from Tekamah High School in 1951. He attended Nebraska Trade School in Milford, Nebraska. In 1956, Jim entered the U. S. Army. He was stationed at Fort Ord, California and in Germany. On September 17, 1960, Jim and Carole Hansen were united in marriage at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah. They lived on a farm south of Tekamah throughout their marriage and had three sons: Brian, Scott and Paul. Jim was engaged in farming and was currently employed by Woodhouse Auto Family. Jim was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Carole of Tekamah; sons and daughters-in-law: Brian and Kellie Anderson of North Platte, Nebraska, Scott and Tonnia Anderson of Princeton, Nebraska, Paul and Judy Anderson of Tekamah; nine grandchildren: Chareese, Clarissa, Tyler and his wife, Katie, Devin, Ryleigh, Danica, Lavyne, Paige, and Shelby; two great grandchildren: Keren and Naudia; brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Joan Anderson of Tekamah; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
